The Clearest Way to the Universe is Through a Forest
…and we all have our own National Parks to wade through Circa 2020.
The last few days, weeks, months have been a blur, of articles, books, and audios on how I am not lazy, I just need systems, I need to organize and get in the mindset. I have a Food catering business and I am starting a real estate one and somehow I still feel like I am not doing enough. well, that is because I have things registered and things in order but I don't know how or where to start when it comes to the next steps running my catering business.
Well, I have decided to just go and dump myself into a system of unlimited learning. Just go about life always learning, every day learn something new. what have I learned today? That I look amazing in Crop-tops, and that unfortunately, the company I bought it from is fast fashion. So I will better find more sustainable local companies and work through knowledge to be a better person.
I have been learning some about myself lately and I hope I am not the only one that can say that. I know many of us have been working in ourselves, new careers, and just in dealing with the clusterfuck that has been 2020 and everyone’s assistance in “PUSHING” everything back together to how it used to be. I thought we all had agreed that this capitalistic, heavily biased, colonialist system was flawed and since most societies have 250 years to make it, we have until 2026 to make up our minds and please quit siding with centrist, neoliberals, change doesn't come through “policy” change will come through mass societal change which in part ARE reflected in senates and congress chambers due to those inhabiting them, NOT through written and re-written, edited and compromised bi-laws. Maybe if the ERA were ratified by now I’d believe it but the fact that everyone is still working on NOT fully changing the constitution to truly reflect what this country is, instead we just keep tacking on amendments like reluctant post-its, is the sign yall need but have been staring at that this country kinda honestly started in the wrong foot.
I want America, the people, to succeed and be the amazing country she is, but we all have been indoors reading and learning about ourselves maybe we will understand a bit more about each other with all of these new revelations. My new goal in life is to continue having these revelations, not just tack on fun facts about the people around me but fully change my mind, perspective, and beliefs, for this is how we become better people. The better country we so adamantly say we are.
